up for auction is a 1970 olds. vista cruiser. I am the 3rd owner. Color is green with wood paneling and green leather interior. Factory options include power tailgate window, power locks, dual action tailgate, am push button radio, luggage rack, AC, dealer installed tow packagewith fender mounted towing mirrors. Drive train consists of a 4 barrel carb, high compression 350 motor, TH 350 transmission, 12 bolt peg leg rear, front power disc brakes, and power steering. The wagon was in a front end collision, therefore the whole front clip has been replaced and changed into a 1971. original drivers fender and bumper are on the car. As for the remainder, it has the usual rust at the bottoms of the quarters and fenders, front passenger door is dented from accident, the windshield is cracked, all other glass is excellent though. Factory tint in roof glass is in excellent shape as well. As for the interior front seat has been recovered, headlined is in excellent shape with the exception of one hole covered by the rear sun visor. Dash is great, carpet is fair, and rear cargo area floor panel has been replaced. This is a 6 passenger (2 seat) station wagon. Transmission was fully rebuilt and has about 1500 miles on it. Motor and transmission are original to car. The car does run and drive. It has sat for 2 years. It starts right up, there is some noise coming from the harmonic balancer, i believe it to be bad. I would recomend an overhaul of the engine but it just may need a valve job. Otherwise it has a new AC pump, heater core, and the carb has been rebuilt. This was my first vista cruiser and a daily driver for 2+ years. i hate to getrid of this vehicle but it is just one too many. It would make a great project car. Its definatley a "bitchin" station wagon. I also have a pile of spare parts that goes with the car. It has a clear new jersey state title and an interesting history to go behind it. Though the car runs, it is not street legal. Therefore the car must be towed or trailered. This vehicle is beign sold as is with no warranty implied.
