This beautiful, RARE in USA, 1994 Alfa 164LS runs great, sounds beautiful, and has no known mechanical defects. The 164 LS has a 3.0 liter, 24 valve V-6 that produces 210 horsepower. What makes the 164 LS really special is the way that power is delivered. Torque steer can be a problem in high powered front wheel drive cars, but in the 164, there is no torque steer. The engine, fed gas and spark by an advanced Bosch computerized fuel and ignition system, does not seem to have any peaks or valleys of power. The 164, one of the best-selling big sedans in Italy, was engineered for European roads, where cars have to perform safely at speeds in excess of 100 mph. This Alfa has received routine maintenance by an Alfa Romeo mechanic. The Alfa does have a couple of cosmetic issues as depicted in the photos, but nothing serious. If you are a car aficionado, you will love this vehicle. Registration was just paid for in the last few weeks and the vehicle has clear title. One thing not illustrated in the pictures is the Alpine mp3 CD Player (I forgot to open the push-cover when taking the pictures). It is not the original stereo that came with the vehicle, but in my opinion is much better. I reserve the right to end the auction early should I sell the vehicle privately. I contacted my mechanic and he said it is probably a "window regulator" which I am told costs about $250.00 to fix. I checked all the other windows and the sun roof and they work properly. By the way, someone asked me if the timing belt has been changed and whether the LCD screen for the temperature works. I was also asked about the struts. The timing belt was changed approximately 5 years ago and the LCD screen works fine. The struts are good. As a side note, I did not mention this originally but I have always lived in Southern California while owning this car and it is rust free. I was also asked whether the car comes with a warranty. There is no warranty and the Alfa is being sold AS IS. Please contact me if you have any questions about the vehicle and I will do my best to find the answer. I am told the items will be shipping tomorrow. I will include these parts in the sale price of the vehicle, however, I will not be installing the items.
