Believed to be a one owner car originally sold in the Birmingham, Alabama area, this car is a twin to the 12,000 mile Mark IV we sold earlier this month. The Cartier model was one the four Designer Series cars introduced in 1976. The Cartier featured a triple gray combination with special red and white pinstriping. Special leather was standard or you could upgrade to the more expensive Versailles Cloth pillowback interior. This car has that interior and the best Lincoln option, a POWER FACTORY MOON ROOF.Traveling only 29,000 miles since new, this car is believed to be a one owner estate car, with the original owner's estate maintaining possession until 2010, but we are not sure, it could have been owner #2? But whichever it is, this car is in excellent condition and is a stunning luxury car. Mostly factory paint in the original Dove Gray, only hood and trunk have been repainted, I am sure due to the typical Lincoln paint crazing of the 1970's. Painted factory pattern Cartier red & white pinstriping and original landau vinyl roof with Designer Series chrome trim bands for the Mark IV. While traveling only 29K miles since new, this car is a time capsule. This lovely car has been well cared for by its prior owners. Now it will look great in your garage. The car is equipped with the famous Lincoln 460 cubic inch engine, 4BBL carb and automatic transmission.
