It is the Long Wheel Base with seating for Nine. It has the original Mercedes 3.0 5cyl Diesel engine mated to a 4-Speed Manual with 4x4 - 2-Speed transfer case with 76713 original miles. The differential gears are 5.33 Low range 80 plus to 1. The rear hydraulic locker is activated by a lever in the cab. The interior is all original and very clean including the rear jump seats. It has the original Mercedes wheels with 33X9.5X15 BF Goodrich Mud Radials, I would say approximately 90% tread left. The 300GD is also equipped with AC, Auxiliary Webasto heater, OEM Trailer hitch, and Denon Stereo w/cd player. I have got the original owners manuals in English and German. I am the third owner of this vehicle. The gentleman I purchased it from had it repainted in 1999 with a Sikkens base and clear. The muffler was replaced in the summer of 2010. In 2009 the brake lines were replaced, radiator was recored, ac was recharged, Glow plug was replaced, and windshield wiper arm gaskets were replaced. The body is solid all the way around. There does not appear to be any rust/rust bubbles in the door jams, rockers, or firewall. Underneath the vehicle is very solid, please see pictures. From what I can tell the tweeter speakers will need to be replaced. The shocks and springs will possibly need to be replaced. The engine starts right up and sounds excellent, the trans shifts smoothly. This Gelandewagen has not been in any accidents. I do have a clean and clear regular title in hand for it.
