Here is a 1970 AMX that has been the recipient of a no expense spared full restoration on what was told to be on a 40,000 actual mile all original sheetmetal car and was completed aprox 4 years ago and kept in a climate controlled facility and driven and showed very little since its completion. The description of this one will be short and simple as nothing was over looked during its resto and what wasn't replaced new was restored to look new and it is show quality and one of the fasted cars I have ever set in!! When people come into my shop they run past mid year corvettes, 69 Z28's chevelles, nova etc. to get to take a look at this one first! It really draws a crowd and gets compliments everywhere it goes!!! This bad boy not only offers its stunning looks but it also boast a brutal ground pounding Herman Lewis built matching number 390 with aprox. 500 H.P. not counting the NOS in the trunk!! (The NOS is hooked up but has NEVER been sprayed!!) The car is SO fast it would just be plum uncontrollable if you sprayed the NOS and I wouldn't want to be along for that ride!!! This X is nothing short of awesome but is set up suitable for the street or the strip and runs on 93 octane gas, but don't let it fool you, When you nail this one you better have it aimed straight!! Anyone that is familiar with AMC's knows the name of Herman Lewis from Beckly, WV who is well known in the AMC world as the GodFather of Amc's and has won multiple national events in the curcuit and set over 18 world records!! He was also well known for the engines he has built that are near bullet proof and produce earth shaking horsepower!! The paint is absolutely gorgeous show quality that is slick as glass and lazer straight tuxedo black accented nicely with silver metallic!! I would rate the paint a VERY strong 9 on a scale of 1 to 10 with a 10 being perfect and at the same time keeping in mind that a new cars paint can be picked. The interior is absolutely flawless show quality and much like the rest of the car is outstanding in every way! All of the glass, emblems, lights lenses, bezels, stainless, components etc etc were all replaced new at time of resto and still remain in show quality condition!! This car offer NO disappointments and could never be built to this level for what this one can be bought for. It has thousands of dollars spent on it and is nothing shy of excellent!!
