I am selling a 1987 monte carlo Ls, it has 147xxx miles on it, with a stock 305 v8 motor, and a used overdrive trans out of an 88 caprice. The car has pretty new tires on it all around, new rear wheel cylinders both side, new brake lines front to back, all new vacuum lines, new base plate for the carb, new altenator, new heater core, new thermostat, aftermarket air filter, new headlights, brand new metal on the driver side floor from front to back, all new carpet, new metal in the trunk also. new speedo cable, trans filter and magnet are new, an tail shaft seal. ive have the car fer about 2 years now i was planning on restoreing it but my funds got low and bills got high so im selling it. It runs great shifts fine, the only mechanical problem that the car has is the choke takes alil longer to disengage because its never been changed and its starting to malfunction, other than that the car is mechanically sound. The body is alil rough, it definately needs both doors, and some metal work to close up the two holes that i seal with metal and sealant for the time being on the bottoms of both quarter panels. Interior is clean but not mint, the head liner is sagging in a few spots, and i need the driver side door handle. All gauges work,but the temp gauge works after it reaches about 100 degrees, heat and a/c works just need to charge the a/c. all speakers work. I installed an aftermarket radio, but that wont be sold with the car, i do have the factory radio if the buyer wants it. Like i said im selling the car so i can pay off my bills, but im not gonna be low balled on the money for the car, i no how much ive put into the car.
