Up for auction is a TRUE 1964 CHEVELLE MALIBU SUPER SPORT SS Project car for restoration or for parts. the body on this car is rough but is restorable. It has been painted a few times and has a lot of body filler that covered up rust years ago and is starting to pop out. The floor pans and trunk pan have rust holes and are cruedly patched with sheet metal. The body frame mounts have rot. The frame is very solid and in good condition. This vehical will need a complete restoration. But will make a beautiful car with the great color combination BLUE ON BLUE. The origial motor and trans is long gone but there is a rebuilt 350 SBC motor (I was told by the person I got the motor from) that comes with the car and it has a 350 turbo transimission attached. This motor and trans are in the car now but not hooked up, they are just sitting on the mounts. The person I got this car from had disassembled it for a total restoration and lost interest in it. There was no motor or trans when I got it. I had intended to restore this car as well but I have to many projects and not enough time, so I want to sell it to complete others. This car looks and appears as it looks in the pictures. (WHAT YOU SEE IS WHAT YOU GET). There is no center console to the car and I know it may have other parts missing. It has a clutch pedal still in it and cruedly cut floor for the shifter, so at one time it had a 4 speed in it, and this was not an original 4 speed car (it was automatic power glide) based on the cowl tag. The cowl tag options are listed above. This is how I purchased it and this is how it is. I have most of the parts for this car but not all.
