Up for sale is my 1989 Volvo 240 DL, This car has been very well maintained over the years and is ready to be driven with no major issues. It has a fresh tuneup, fresh oil/filter change,new brakes last month, a new alternator,and charging system check, new air filter,Very good tires, heater/cooling system works fine,(Air may need to be recharged it isnt ice cold), Body has virtually no rust and original paint shines nicely, only a few minor scratches here and there, remember it is 22 yrs old. But the car looks very nice, Interior is very clean-no rips or stains in seats, all door panels very nice,Heated seats, Also included is a Pioneer CD,mp3 radio with a booster bass amp in the trunk (put in last year) sounds very good. I drive this car regularly and would take it anywhere. Motor runs smoothly with no leaks anywhere and no unusual sounds, It is a dependable everyday driver that has been very well taken care of and garaged. The only thing i know that it could use is a spring on the driver side hood hinge, The hood opens and closes just fine but when you open it and want to leave it open it is a little weak because there is only the spring on the passenger side hinge to bear the weight of the hood, but i have never repaired it because it hasnt been a problem. A new hinge can be purchased for $100.00 if you really want to. Again it is very dependable and economical to drive and it looks very nice, really needs nothing. I am only selling it because my family has four vehicles and i need room in garage, Thanks for looking.
