Up for sale is a 1974 VW SuperBeetle that has been in my hometown nearly all of its life and is believed to have on 72,709 original miles. I aquired this car from my neighbor and he was very picky when it come to his bug! This bug is by far one of the most dependable and most solid RUST FREE VW's I have ever encountered! It has ALL of its original sheetmetal and is solid as a rock and shows NO signs of rust or panel replacement! The floors, fenders, doors floors very solid!! The car was restored aprox. 8 years ago and has been respected and garage kept and still shows very well. The brite red paint shines excellent and is in great condition but it has been driven and enjoyed so I have found a few very minor chips that have been touched up. I would rate the paint a 7 on a scale of 1 to 10 with a 10 being flawless. All of the chrome bezels lights, lenses and glass are in remarkable condition as well. The bumpers are starting to show some signs of fading. (Just being picky so you don't have any surprises.) The interior and convertible top was also replaced new at the time of resto and still shows to be excellent! (No rips or tears) This car is 110% mechanically sound and has NO known mechanical problems and runs as smooth as singer sewing machine! It is fun to drive and gets outstanding fuel mileage! The motor was completely rebuilt a few years back and has only aprox 10,000 miles or less on it. It has also just recently had a new tune up new generator, starter and a few other misc. items replaced. This car is turn key ready to show or drive!
