For your consideration: A 1964 Chevrolet El Camino Rust free V8 California car. This is a great start on a painted car to finish. No Motor and trans…“What you see is what you get” The body and paint were completed 2 years ago. It is a quality base coat clear coat paint job on a rust free Ca car. It is a medium Charcoal metallic color. The all glass, interior and chrome was removed for the complete paint job. The car was painted inside and out including the bed, engine compartment and under the hood. I am listing this car for a friend of mine. He just lost storage the car and someone is going to get a deal on a straight and painted 64 El Camino. The car has a clear open CA title with no plates. The car is a V8 but to his knowledge not an SS or big block car. He does have an nice 64 El Camino tilt column and custom wheel set aside included, and a set of both bench and bucket seats set aside for it included. He operates a 50 year old upholstery shop; and can also be hired to do the carpet, stock or custom upholstery for the winning bidder if he wishes. This place does nice custom upholstery, carpet and seats. The car does have it’s original 64 El Camino bed chrome and stainless. There are boxes of miscellaneous parts included that are shown in the photos also included in the sale. I saw the heater controls, heater box, mirror, kick panels and lots of other miscellaneous parts. So it is what it is…all painted waiting to get put together. Priced to sell. He also said he has the factory 64 electric window motors for this car included in the sale. I think that’s all I can remember he mentioned. Car has a brand new windshield installed. I have made several mistakes listing this El Camino. I wanted to help him and I just didn’t know enough about it at that time. The steering box is IN THE CAR and hooked up to the front end complete. He will install that nice tilt steering column and steering wheel for the new buyer - no charge. I also found out today the gas tank was always in the car!
