1997 Honda Civic LX Sedan I bought this car about 6 months ago from a neighbor who bought it from the original owner. I am the 3rd owner and have every service record since it was new. By looking at the service records, one call tell that this car has had good maintenance and received regular oil changes. I have been driving this vehicle daily since I bought it but just a few days ago bought a newer Civic because I liked this one so much. These cars are fun to drive and great on gas! Everything works well on this car - air, cruise control, radio, cd player, windows, locks, mirrors, instrument panel, lights, etc. This car has been well taken care of but does show some age. I will try to sum up the issues below. Mechanically the only issue I know is that the check engine light is on. I took it to Auto Zone and they told me it was an oxygen sensor. I haven't bothered fixing this issue because the car runs and drives very well. I have put about 5k miles on this car and would trust driving it anywhere. It rides very smooth around town and also on the highway at 70 mph. Cosmetically the exterior has some dents and scratches and the paint has faded on the roof and trunk lid. The person I bought it from told me the vehicle was in a small fender bender that required the passenger fender and headlight to be replaced. She said this happened a very long time ago. It appears all other exterior parts on the car are original. On the interior, the carpet, seats, and other surfaces are very clean. I don't think this car has every been smoked in and it was well taken care of. The only issue is a torn sunvisor and a loose portion of the headliner near the rear window. More details below: Black Exterior - There are some dents and scratches. Paint on roof and trunk is faded. Gray Interior - Very Good Condition. Driver's side sunvisor is torn. Headliner is loose near rear window. Transmission - Automatic. This car shifts good with no known problems. Engine - 1.6 litre 4 cylinder - Engine runs good with no known problems and is very good on gas. Options are Auto, Cold A/C, Power Windows/Locks/Mirrors, Cruise, Factory CD Player Rear folding seat - great for larger items New tires in 2010 with about 10k miles on them. Spare tire, jack, toolkit Owner's Manual Book full of all maintenance records since vehicle was new Other than noted above, no known problems but sold as-is Please email with any questions. I already took the car to Auto Zone and had it checked a while back but I decided to take the car into my auto repair shop TODAY and have it checked again. They confirmed this light was on because the car had a bad oxygen sensor. I asked him to go ahead and replace it. As of today, the car has a new premium oxygen sensor and it no longer has the check engine light on. I have the receipts from the work that was just completed a few hours ago. I also had the oil changed and the rest of the vehicle checked out and eveything else looked good. END UPDATE ****March 26, 2011 1:50 PM EST****
