Up for bids is this 49 ? Ford F1 RAT ROD PROJECT. The cab is pretty solid. Truck has no motor,glass interior drive shaft etc. You get the picture. This is a total project truck. The frame is clean for this part of the country and has been boxed in the front with Chevy motor mounts welded in place. There is a Chevy auotmatic trans and crossmember installed. The rear end,springs and hangers are Chevy truck with 6 lug[unknown gears or condition.] The rear body I believe is late 50's International with no floor or tailgate but actualy looks ok and is also pretty solid. Front axle is original with drum brakes. I think the nose is off an F5 as well as the cab. Rear cab mounts are bolted up but not the fronts.There is no steering column but original box is. There is some rust at top of windshield frame that would be an easy fix. No running boards, brackets still there. What you see is pretty much what you get. I might come up with some other stuff as I have a 51 F3 for parts. There is no title or previous reg on this project truck and will be sokd with a bill of sale only I also resevre the right to end this auction early The winning bidder is responsable fo shipping but I'll assist in any way that I can.
