Up for auction is my 2004 Jeep Wrangler X with 88,xxx miles. The Jeep is a 6 cylinder 4.0 with an automatic transmission. I bought this jeep a year ago and have put approximately 18,000 miles on it since. Directly after buying the jeep, I put on the wheels (16 inch) and tires. I also purchased an OEM navigation radio (RB-1, from a grand cherokee) off of ebay and installed it, along with the Sirius Satellite Radio module. Jeep didn't even offer the navigation radio in the 2004 TJ's, making this one a true custom. The radio also has the capacity for cd changer controls, however I never installed the changer (I mostly listen to satellite). I also took off the smaller fender flares from behind the front flares and installed steel rocker guards (real ones, not fake--can be used as jacking points). A/C and Heat both work very well. These 4.0's are notorious for being extremely durable, which is the reason you see so many of them on the road. The 4 X 4 works exactly as it should, as does the automatic transmission and motor. I just took the Jeep on vacation to the smoky mtn's in December (1,000 mile round trip) without incident. Having said that, the vehicle is 7 years old, meaning that it is not perfect. There are some rock chips on the front (grill area and on the hood --all of which have been touched up). There is also a small dent about 1 inch above the right taillight (very small -see picture) from the previous owner. Recently sprayed the door handles and fender flares with some Krylon. The tire setup is the largest that you can go without altering the suspension, but will still rub the fender flare a little on full extension -- I've never had any problems with this and have left it alone. Just spent $218 on Brand new front ceramic brake pads and Anti-Sway Bar Linkages. Also has new plugs and is running like a top. Highest Bidder is to make a $300 Deposit within 24 hours of auction close by Paypal; Balance to be due within 7 days by Cash or Cashiers Check (no personal checks, etc.) Vehicle is to be picked up within 7 days of auction close.
