I ran this auction two times so far, and neither time did it quite reach the reserve. The lady I am selling it for wants to move it for sure this time. Therefore the reserve has been reduced. I will also end the auction early if someone comes through with a reasonable offer in advance of the auction's end!! Any reasonable offer will be accepted. (Don't worry, it will all be done by Ebay's rulebook.) For those not familiar with the Touareg, it is the PORSCHE CAYENNE'S "INEXPENSIVE" BABY BROTHER!! They are built in the same factory. It was the Motor Trend SUV of the year in 2004. The Wheat Beige exterior and Saddle Tan leather combination has to be the best. This luxury was well over $50k in 2004, but the 4WD setting is just as rugged off the road as the comfort setting is on the road. It is in absolutely excellent shape! It has been fully detailed, inside and out. Besides the above features, it includes all of the things you would expect in a luxury SUV/Crossover: manual shift option, remote entry, leather and wood trim, heated front and rear seats and steering wheel, ski bag, split folding rear seat, folding auto dimming turn signal mirrors, locking roof rack and airbags all around, It's been garage-kept for at least the last 3 years. The couple of minor recalls have been taken care of. The one main issue the '04's had was a problem with the ignition and steering column. It has been replaced on this one ($1891.27). It has new brakes and a new battery as well. It has a current Pa. inspection. I am selling this for a schoolteacher friend of mine. She must sell, but doesn't understand the car selling websites very well. She has owned the car for the last 3 years and 25,000 miles. THE AUTOCHECK AND CARFAX ARE WRONG IN PART!! THE CAR HAS NEVER BEEN IN AN ACCIDENT There was an issue that insurance paid for, so it got picked up by Carfax and Autocheck. And it was in Lancaster, Pa., not Branchville, NJ. Nobody knows where that came from. There are efforts underway to have it corrected, but that's a tough process. If you want a complete explanation, please email me. The only body issue is one ding on the front passenger door. (Again, see pics, it didn't break the paint.) AND THERE ARE NO MECHANICAL ISSUES. I have the vehicle, for those of you who might be close enough to come inspect and test drive it. Back in '04 I bought a brand new Grand Cherokee Overland. A couple years later, I looked into these and came to find out that the Touareg was so much more advanced than my top of the line Jeep. Jeep's great claim to fame on the hot new 2011 Cherokee is moving the wheels out to the end of the vehicle. Guess what!! Yep, back in '04. Check the pics. Turn a knob for 4 wheel, not a shifter. Telescoping steering wheel, park distance control sensors, electric collapsing turn signal mirrors, 18 inch wheels, manual shift option, and more. Once you understand this SUV with the stupid name, you'll find out you cannot go wrong. And this one is super clean and pampered!!! Back in '04, the 6 cylinder engine was not enough for a vehicle this solid. So don't be tempted by one to save a couple bucks. This gets the 17/22 mpg as advertised. The reserve price is reasonable.
