Vehicle Detail

***2000 Honda Prelude!!!!!*** Current Kelly Blue Book Suggested Retail: $9670 2.2 VTECH 200hp 4-cylinder MSRP: $24,940 ~76,230 miles (extremely low for the year!) Exterior: 9.3 out of 10 (10 being new; some typical scratches or nick here and there, shown in pictures.) Interior: 9.7 out of 10 (no issues, stains, non-smoker, no smells, perfect original interior floor mats, looks close to brand new) Crystal Blue Metallic (looks silver with a touch of blue) Black Cloth and Interior Automatic Transmission with Manual Shift Mode Capability NOTE: I will not state the Reserve Price. Plan to bid and win as any Prelude in this condition is an extremely rare find, or choose the Buy It Now before someone else does! This is no doubt one of the lowest mileage, best maintained Preludes you’ll likely find, anywhere. Absolutely no modifications have ever been put on the Prelude. Everything is completely factory stock save for a new battery and two replacement speakers that were age-worn. All glass has factory VIN etchings. All body panels are original. No accidents or paintwork. No mechanical work or any issues ever. I can’t explain enough that you will be extremely hard pressed to ever find another Prelude this nice, or any 2000 model vehicle for that matter. Flawless Carfax. The color is Crystal Blue Metallic. It looks Silver many times, but in the sunlight with different backgrounds it can look metallic blue. My kids call it Silver, as do most people that see it. I'd call it Blue. The interior is all black and looks amazing. We are the second owner since new. I have the Title “in hand”. The original owner purchased this in 2001 in North Carolina (always a North Carolina car). She’s a teacher in her 50’s and always had it maintained at the Dealer. I purchased this to use as “daily driver car” as an addition to my Toyota Tundra. I’m 40 years old. Long story short; big change in plans and my parents have decided to buy my Tundra and instead of selling their 2008 VW Jetta, I’m going to take over the lease on it. This will still allow me to use the truck when I need but have a “car” as a daily driver. Recent North Carolina inspection completed with zero issues. Everything is in 100% order. Needs absolutely nothing! The Prelude drives flawlessly and extremely tight; just as it did new. No rattles or odd noises. It's tough to buy sight unseen, but this is not one you'll need to worry about. We have 100% positive feedback for a reason. I highly recommend anyone local that is interested to come over to see and drive it. Feel free to have it fully inspected as well. It’s a Honda, and their reputation for being bullet proof stands true. Exterior: The exterior is in excellent shape with only the most minor nicks or scratches. I’ve shown the area with the most wear; the front left bumper area. The photo really brings out the issues, but in person you don’t notice them unless you’re down low, really looking. As you'd expect of any North Carolina car: no rust as is typical of most any car that grew up in the NE or Midwest. Looking inside the fenders (all four), under the car, around the hood, trunk, etc... there is no sign of any rust or even a hint of a bubble forming anywhere. Again, this is a NC car bought here and remained here! We have the original Window Sticker as well as all Books, all original keys (3) and key fobs (how rare is that?). I recently put on 4 brand new BFG g-Force Super Sport ZR rated tires from Discount Tire. They have ~500 miles on them so 99% tread left. This is an excellent tire and was highly recommended; well worth the extra money over a cheap tire. Very quiet, smooth, and high performance for wet and dry. I replaced the factory rear view mirror with a new Honda factory rear view mirror. They evidently have a tendency to peel internally at the mirror portion. I had all 4 rims polished with a nice compound to take some of the weathered look out of them which happens to any 10 year old rim. I purchased a new cup holder mat (little rubber mat your cut sits on) as the original was looking a bit worn. I had the windows professionally tinted with a North Carolina legal tint. The driver’s interior door handle has a chrome surround that peels on all Preludes. I purchased a new factory door handle and assembly. I had the Prelude professionally detailed/buffed/waxed less than a month ago. I don’t spare any expense when it comes to my cars in maintaining them and keeping them looking and working as new. I’m not in any hurry to sell the car and not interested in selling it cheap. If NADA or Kelly Blue Book has this car for sale for the book value they state, buy it from them. J I hope this car will go to someone that can appreciate it!!! When you win the auction, this is a binding contract, not your chance to look at the car and decide. If you’d like to look at it or have it inspected, you must do so before bidding. Please be sure that you have all of your finances in order before you choose the Buy It Now or place a bid on this. I require a $500 nonrefundable deposit with 24 hours of auction close and the remainder within 7 days. Please don’t waste my time and I won’t waste yours. J
