This auction is for a 1965 Ford Mustang 2+2 Fastback. The car was my daily driver for about 5 years before I parked it in my parent's barn in 1991. When I parked it there the only problem I was aware of was some missing teeth on the flywheel that would cause the starter gear to spin on occasion before catching. The car sat in their barn until about 5 years ago when they needed the space back. At that time it was moved outside and has sat with a tarp over it since. Because nothing has been done to it for 20 years, I'd consider it a good project car that hopefully wouldn't take much work to put back on the road. As best as I can remember it has a 302 (rather than original 289) with C4 automatic transmission. There is some rust around the rocker panels and elsewhere as expected for a 45+ year old car. The fiberglass hood scoop is non-functional. Local pickup only and a $250 non-refundable deposit is due within 3 days of auction end by PayPal or cash in person.
