Up for bid is a great running, great looking 1995 BMW 740i. I purchased this car as a trade-in. The mileage is 175k. The motor is very strong. Although it is a performance car, it gets about 22-24 mpg. The transmission shifts 100%. The paint is in great condition without a lot of dents or scratches. The interior is is decent shape. The leather is in great shape. The carpet, while black, could use a good cleaning. The oil has just been changed. There are 2 full sets of rims that will be sold with the car - the Borbet rims that are viewed on 3 of the wheels and the chrome rim that is on the rear passenger side. (The matching Borbet rim is in the trunk.) The tires on all rims could be replaced - the trim is not the best. All power equipment functions properly (moonroof, windows, etc.) Issues to address: 1.) This car was stolen and then recovered so the interior has some small little plastic pieces missing that can be replaced at the junk yard; 2. ) Additionally, it has a "dead miss" - I have replaced the plugs which helped but it might need a mass airflow sensor. Not sure and did not investigate. On the road, the car runs great and has plenty of passing power, the miss is mainly noticed when sitting idle at first start of the car. The body is straight. It does need a little TLC to get it 100% but it can be driven home to any state without issue. Highest bid wins. Please bid with confidence. This car is being presented "AS-IS" for year and mileage.
