Vehicle Detail

Custom 2000 Chevrolet Astro This Van started out as a mail truck for the University of South Florida. I purchased it in December 2007 with only 14,504 miles on it. (only 2000/year) I was looking for a low miles florida truck and this van fit the bill. The truck is completely rust free. That was a must for me. The crayon marks from manufacturing are still present underneath. It looks brand new. Garaged every night, this van is kept clean and pampered. I replaced the slider and rear doors with solid (no window) doors. I added a Stillen front spoiler / bumper cover and I fabricated a rear roll pan for a smooth look. The van was then repainted white with a clear. The Torque Thrust wheels are 16x8 and they are one piece, not welded. The yokohama Avid TRZ tires are about 1000 miles old and ride just great. I just recently put in a new radiator, windshield and had the transmission rebuilt. (36 month warrantee). The battery was replaced with an Optima Spiral Cell battery. (5 year warrantee). The oil is changed every 3000 and yes I fill the filter with oil before screwing it on. The Plugs, wires, cap, rotor are new. The stock muffler was replaced with a Thrush muffler and a chrome exhaust tip. All 4 gas shocks are new and the rear ones are load leveling. The brakes are new 1500 miles ago. All of the headlights and tail lights are new not re-polished. All of the door gaskets are new (OEM not aftermarket) The grill is new. The stripes are changed out every 4 months to eliminate paint shadows. The interior has leather captain chairs with arm rests. The floor is covered with thick black carpet from a home carpeting store. Any exposed edges of the carpet were bound by a professional installer. Because it was a cargo van, there were no interior panels so I purchased a complete matching interior including the headliner. Where there are window holes, I used sheets of matte black formica for a dark custom look. You know by now how fussy I am about my truck. I replace anything that even looks old, like the battery tray, both side view mirrors, the rear license plate frame, seat belts, windshield washer fluid tank and even the steering wheel. In the last 3 years I have spent over $10,000 on her and loved doing it. If you want a dependable vehicle that gets lots of looks, bid on it to win. I am 10 miles from the Tampa Airport. Fly in and cruise back home in great little truck and get 20mpg all the way back home. The truck has 63,000 miles on it now, and it runs better than the day I got it. I reserve the right to cancel this auction anytime as the van is advertised locally. BUT....I would love to see it go to an EBAY bidder, I really would. Good Luck.
