Up for auction is my Dads 1998 Chevy Silverado 4x4. We have had this truck for the last several years and haven't had a problem with it. But mid winter the front differential went out so will need to be repaired. So 4x4 is inop at this time. Pop a used one in or rebuild the one thats in it . We have drove it several miles since with no problems. It runs and drives really nice, don't let the miles bother, it don't use any oil and I have serviced it regularly. Trans shifts smooth and before frt. diff went out 4x4 worked Great! It has a flip up 5th wheel ball installed as we pulled a 16' horse trailer when needed, with no lack of power. Has tilt, cruise, Cold air, etc. The drivers seat leans back on the left side a little bit, has been that way for years, I think it might have a broken bracket or something, easy fix. And tail gate needs R.H. latch fixed, sometimes hard to open. A latch kit would fix. The R&L bedsides have a dent on each side as seen in pics, but I think a suction cup would pull them out. Other than that it is a nice straight truck! So if you need a good 3/4 ton work truck, or need a truck to pull a trailer for a reasonable price don't hesitate to bid. We bought a new truck is the only reason we are selling this one, or we would have fixed frt. diff and continued to drive it! Trans was replaced before we bought it, not sure of exact miles when it was done, but has never given a problem. It is for sale local so reserve right to end auction early.
