Up for sale is a beautiful 1972 Corvette that has been in my home town its entire life and is believed to be 88,517 original miles. This vette was traded in at another dealership here in town by an older coulple who wanted a new vette. This vette has been garage kept and well respected and only driven on nice sunny days! This C3 offers a flawless NO hit body, very solid RUST FREE frame and bird cage and body lines that are remarkable!! The paint is aprox. 8 years old base/coat clear/coat that is extremely slick and very straight and looks nice but not flawless. (does have a few chips that have been touched up and a few hairline cracks in the paint along the hood edges.) . All of the glass appears to be original to the car and is in excellent condition. All of the stainless, lights, lenses, bumpers etc look as if new!!! The car has a non match # 350 that was completely gone through and built new less than 2500 miles ago and is attched to a very smooth shifting 4 speed transmission w/ the factory shifter This car is 110% mechanically sound and has NO problems leaks, rattles, vibrations etc! I would not be afraid to drive this car anywhere!! It hits the road tight and handles incredible. We had some nice weather here last week and and I put aprox. 350 miles on it myself!! It is an absolute blast to drive and the deep throaty sound of the factory side pipes really gets the attention! This car has also had new suspension parts, bushings etc. with in the last year. This is by far one of the best C3's I've ever owned or driven! The interior was redone aprox 4 years ago and was put back mostly original with the exception of the radio and the seat inserts. It shows some very minimal wear but is in overall excellent condition NO rips tears or stains and ALL interior lights gauges etc are in proper working order. The headlights and wiper door perform well also. This car is equipped with the following options...Power steering, Power disc brakes, Power windows, Tilt/telescopic sport wheel, Factory side exhaust, T-tops, After market am/fm cass. player, luggage rack and it is also a factory A/C car (but is missing the compressor and hoses.) With the exception of the A/C everything on this car works properly!! This Corvette is far ahead of most in its class and would be an excellent investment opportunity that is ready to drive show and enjoy!!! I am a licensed and bonded VA. dealer.
