Ok. It has taken 3 years to get this vehicle on Ebay. This vehicle belongs to my father-in-law's wife. For three years she has asked me if I would sell her pride and joy...then she would get cold feet. I pick her vehicle out of the garage in Tucson on Jan 14,2011. I couldnt stand the tears. I waited a month to make sure she didn't change her mind again. I am not an expert on this type of vehicle...especially the year. I could not even come close to tell you what its worth. We are listing this car with an average reserve. However, she said she will consider selling car to highest bidder if reserve is not reached. The car has been in the family since it was new. She has personally owned this car since 1978. She use to enter local car shows around AZ in the 80's. According to her the car is all original with "matching numbers." I know she has had the car totaly repainted and engine worked. At one time she had all the paperwork and service records. However, with a bitter divorce and a fireplace. She is left with title and car. The car is located right now in New Mexico. The car has spent most of its life in Tucson,AZ. Originally was from Chigago, Il. The vette is equiped with original 350(rebuilt), standard shift 4speed transmission, T-tops, no a/c, no p/s, roll up windows, car cover, covers for t-tops, and dash cover. All glass is good and clear. There is original etching on door glass. No tears in interior. The tires are brand new. Has new fuel pump and new rear end. All the lights work. The front head lights some times need a little help to open. The car rides and drives. The driver side inside door handle needs a little work. There is a small piece of molding on passenger side lower corner of winshield that needs a little attention too. I know I do not have all the answers. If there is something that you want to know please ask. There is no problem calling her and getting your question answered. We are running this auction for 10 days. I will be out of town from 2/24 thru 2/27. I will respond in a timely manner. I have taken ALOT of pics. If there is a pic you want that I missed I would be happy to send to you. I will not sell this vehicle outside of ebay. We do reserve the right to end auction early. It will be the responsibility of the buyer to have the vehicle transported from my location. A $500 deposit is due immediately after end of auction. The balance is due at time of delivery. If you want pics of the under carriage I have them. or if you can tell me how to make the changes in pics let me know. I spoke with my mechanic on this car. His opinion is that this car is really clean and good shape underneath. there was some battery corrision in the battery box area(think typical). he says that this car would make a good driver or its restorable. for the person that understands what restorable means enough said. I am not an expert in old cars. he said if this car was from maine there would be nothing left or the metal would be flaking off in chunks. hopefully this info will help....anything specific please ask.
