Vehicle Detail
This 1975 Mercury Comet is ready for summer car shows and cruising. It has a warmed up 351 Windsor engine with a nice sounding rumble to the performance exhaust system with headers. A rebuilt C 4 auto trans connects power to a 8 inch Ford high geared rear end for easy cruising. The Comet has an aluminum radiator with a external transmission cooler, new battery, new strut rod bushings, front alignment, and new power steering cylinder. It has a steering column mounted tach with under-dash gauges for temp. oil press. and voltage. The car has new front tires and like-new rear tires. The interior is a nice red and black color with new rubber weatherstripping all around. It has power steering with manual drum brakes with no problems stopping the car. There is an AM/FM/CD/MP3 player in the dash with a remote control. The heater, defroster and all lights function on the car. The car has a beautiful base coat/clear coat red finish with satin black hood, tail light panel, outside mirrors, and lower GT stripes to set it off. It has a non-functional Cobra Jet hood scoop. The detail work on this car is amazing and the underside is just as nice. It is turn-key ready for cruising or showing. It would cost over $25,000.00 to build a car of this quality, and it is priced to sell at less than half of that cost. I have too many cars and projects and this one needs to go, my loss is your gain. The car is sold as is and where is in Topeka, Kansas. Buyer is to make arrangements for pick-up or delivery. Sales are within the USA only. The successful buyer will submit a $500.00 deposit within 24 hours of winning bid. Complete payment must be received before the car is removed or title is transferred.
