1969 Dodge Camper Special (truck and camper included) for sale. Both are in excellent condition and have been garage kept since purchased in 1969. The truck is a V8 318 engine with manual transmission. I inherited the truck from my late uncle and had it inspected in 2010. My mechanic told me the truck was 100 pt truck. But to pass inspection, I had the following done: Reconditioning of front brake assembly Carburetor replaced (remanufactured) Oil change, fluids, transmission Electric start installed I have retained all the original parts and they are included with the sale. The truck could easily be 100 points again. This is a special truck in that is very clean both inside and out. My mechanic noted that the wires were so clean that he could read the painting on the wires, so my uncle must have wiped them down after each trip. And the camper is immaculate. Even the refrigerator and stove are clean! I do not know how to hook up the camper to electricity or water so cannot vouch for its operation. The truck was inspected (the truck alone) and I had an electric start added. The inspection is valid thru June 2011. The tires that are on it are passed inspection but are unsafe to carry the camper (split rims). I purchased new rims but you will need to purchase new tires before driving. The rims are included in the purchase. The body is in excellent condition, with no rust. The mirrors have a bit of rust on the exterior. The camper has the original mattress and couch cushions (unused) as well as a queen mattress and heavy duty couch cushions my family used.
