This car was purchased brand new by my now late father. 1970 SS 396 Chevelle with original number matching L78 CKO engine, Muncie M21 4 speed transmission and CKK 12 posi rearend( 410 gears). The car is in the process of completing a frame off restoration..The engine was completely rebuilt,new stock lift L78 camshaft ,solid lifters . ( bored .030 over)It was run on a dyno and put out 444 HP at 5900 rpm..Frame and underside were all sandblasted and repainted .It has all the original metal yet except the the rear quarter panels and trunk floor were replaced.Door,hood and front fenders are original to the car.I have a new fender on the front passengers side now but also have the original fender. The car does not need anymore new metal or metal work. I also have new bumpers,wheel housing trim,door panels,headliner,seat covers and NOS SS 396 and Cowl Induction emblems. Engine numbers are T0913CKO. 10K107692...3969854....I-10-9 Tranny is M21 with vin stamped on it.10K107692...POP05... Rearend is CKK 0909B..Rebuilt with new bearings and original gear ratio 410 gears. Original intake 3963569 and 3964291 heads F 9 9 Original dist. 1112000 This is a black interior car with bucket seats and console delete..# 756 interior Dash is original with round gauges but no tach.. I have the protecto plate for the car and all numbers correctly match the protecto plate.
