Hello, what I have here is my 1991 Pontiac Firebird that needs to go to a new home. It stopped running on me a few months back and since then it has been kept in my garage. I hate to let it go but I don't have the time or the money to fix it up. Its a V6, never been wrecked. The reason it stopped working is the starter went out and there was some sort of short in the electrical system that made the spedometer not work. I'm not a mechanic so I dont really know. I had a mechanic look at it and thats what he told me. He also said the engine runs "rich". The fuel filter will need to be replaced as well. I've had the car since 2004 and have kept up with regular maintenance. I have a new car and this one unfortunately is taking up space right now. The car will start up with the battery charged. The motor is fine. The car has approx 149K miles. Never been wrecked. It has a couple of dings and could use a paint job but the original black paint still looks nice and shines up very nicely with a wax job. There is no rust on the car either. All it will take is a little TLC and a good mechanic to get this thing running nicely again. It is not running right now and the inspection/registration stickers are not up to date. The title is clear though. This would be a great project car but I wouldn't even call it that. It won't take much to have this car back on the road turning heads. The interior is clean too. Most of these cars are all beat to hell but this one is pretty clean. I have the title on hand. I also have the Haynes Manual that tells you how to fix and replace any part on the car including complete teardown-rebuild. That comes with the car too. I bought it on ebay a couple years back and it's really helped alot. It will probably need new tires too because the right rear is flat and the left rear is going soft too. I'm asking 600.00 to start and thats a sacrifice. I hate to sell it for so cheap but it's just taking up space that I don't have. The car will need to be towed at the owners expense.
