Up for sale is a nice 65 corvette convertible that I traded for a few weeks back that draws a crowd and gets attention everywhere it goes! This corvette offers a very straight well fitted No hit body and a VERY solid frame and bird cage!! All of the lines are near perfect and is some of the best body lines I've seen on a mid year corvette! This car is very dependable and hits the road absolutely incredible. It is smooth and tight and a thrill to drive!! The original motor is long gone and it now has small block that performs excellent and sounds awesome through the hooker header show tubes!! The transmission shifts and performs excellent and goes up/down through all he gears with NO problems! Upon trading for this car I drove it home aprox 130 miles and have been driving it daily around town (weather permitting) with NO problems!! I would not be afraid to bump the key and drive this car anywhere!!! I have owned alot of classics cars and this one is ast the top of my list as far as dependability goes!! Everything with the exception of the emergency brake (all lights, signals, horn, wipers, power windows, etc.) on this car works properly as designed.. Right down to the power antenna and factory radio which still plays wonderfully and believe it or not even the clock still works!!!. The headlights roll up nice and smooth with no laziness! The interior is absolutely pristine and shows No signs of wear or tear!! All of the gauges read properly and crystal clear. (There is one small crack in the lense on the amp gauge and the black around the glove box door is faded slightly) Other than than the interior is near perfect!! This car has been painted aprox. 16 years and it is slick and straight but it is old paint so regardless of how well the pictures show it IS old paint ( has some chips that have been touched up, some discoloration and blemishes.) It is not flawless but rather what I would consider driver quality. All of the stainless, chrome, convertible top, etc. looks to be original to the car is is great condition for its age! ( front driver side bumper shows its age more than the others with some slight fading of the chrome.) This car is optioned with the following....Power steering, power disc brakes, power antenna, power windows (works flawlessly), telescopic wood steering wheel, knock off wheels (new tires) I am a licesned and bonded VA. dealer and reserve the right to end this list at any time as the car is for sale locally!
