Just in-1960 Chevrolet Apache Pickup with original small block Chevy engine and 3 speed on the column. Overall a very complete truck, sunvisors are on seat as well as 1 strip of stainless steel body molding. Body of truck is relatively dent free and has some superfical surface rust. Cab corners are in good shape. Bottom of driver side door has some rust. Floors are relatively intact. Wood in bed has been replaced with other wood. Chassis and frame are solid. Vehicle has been sitting so when we brought it in we did a tune-up and put a fresh battery in the truck and squirted some gas in the carburetor and it starts and runs. Engine compartment is complete except for the aircleaner. Engine compartment and inside fender wells are rust free. Original radiator holds antifreeze without leaking. Engine was tight when it was running. We heard no ticks or knocks. We have not tried to drive it. Brakes need to be checked and bled. Chrome bumpers front and back are in very good condition with no rust/cancer, bed walls are in good condition, tailgate shows some usage but is amazingly straight and reusable. Cab is in good condition. Aftermarket radio but the dash has NOT been cut. Original glove box with miscellaneous parts. The rust on this vehicle is very manageable in the right hands. And there is quite a bit of aftermarket parts available for this truck. Seat and interior are fairly complete, and seat is in very good condition with no rips or tears. We are not certain of the engine size whether it is a 265 cubic inch or 283. Body is relatively no hit with the exception of the passenger side rear of the bed where it is slightly creased. This truck would make a knock out restoration and the Apache trucks are growing in value every year because of their uniqueness of design with the twin headlights on each side, etc. It is definitely a period piece that is getting harder and harder to find. We have relisted this vehicle due to an ebay buyer who had no buyer history who clicked the "buy it now" button and sent an email saying he wanted to send us a check for more than the buy it now price and wanted us to refund the extra amount to him. This is a scam. I contacted ebay support and this buyer has been removed. Pls. be serious in your bidding. It takes time and energy to list a car on ebay and we take it very seriously on our end. We have a clear North Carolina Title on hand which matches the vin number of the truck.
