This is a future collectable, as you know finding a nice clean 3dgen Firebird is getting more & more difficult. What separates this bird from the others is that it’s the first year of the very desirable GTA model. It comes with the bigger corvette sourced L98 5.7L V8. WS6 suspension comes with bigger sway bars and the all so wanted 4wheel disc brakes. Let’s not forget the gorgeous 16" gold wheels. Solid roof means less rattles and no leaks. I have had the pleasure of owning this car for the past 3 years where it stayed in my garage unless it was nice out. With collector car insurance it was cheap to insure also. I get lots of nice comments every time I' pumping gas or stopped in traffic. Selling because I need the room and extra cash. In the 3 years I've owned this beast I've had the following work done on it. (Have all the paperwork) Outer tie rod ends REPLACED NEW Alternator New Edelbrock Headers New KYB Shocks & Struts Lower ball joints REPLACED NEW Fan Relays New weld in Hotchkiss Sub frame Connectors New Flowmaster cat-back All Hoses & Belts REPLACED NEW O2 Sensor New Fuel Pump & Relay Rebuilt headlight Motors Four wheel Alignment NEW Edelbrock Water pump New BMR Torque Arm Driver window motor replaced The not so good and typical 3dgen issues- Pull down hatch motor works 1/2 the time, Paint is cracking on spoiler, Ac needs to be recharged, heat not working great. Power door locks need fixing. Sometimes smokes when you start it and goes though a quart of oil roughly every 1000mi, valve seals should be replaced if that bothers you. Also has a 2" paint crack on the hood. Car starts up with the first key turn and runs strong, 325 lbs-ft of torque is addicting. I have been more than honest here, car only needs a little bit more to be perfect and is already sexy as hell looking. I'm more than happy to provide more information or pictures if need be.
