This is a rare find. A solid, straight, rust-free, restored, 1961 GMC pick-up truck. Let me just say that I have never really been a big fan of the black semi-gloss look, but man, it is the perfect look for this truck. You will be proud to take this truck to cruis-ins and shows and to drive it around town. It gets a lot of attention and thumbs-up. It is a really kool truck. It has a great running 350 Olds motor with a mild cam. Approx. 25,000 miles on the rebuild. Runs cool and has good oil pressure. Smooth shifting auto trans. Drum brakes all around, new power steering, AM/FM CD player. New front bumper, rear roll pan, beautiful white ash in bed with polished stainless strips, new glass, rubber, weatherstrips and fuzzies. Paint job was professionally done in SEM-HR101, Hot Rod semi-gloss black - A very durable single stage SEM product (not primer or rustoleum), smooth and slick. Nice contrasting silver and black interior. Truck rides on P235/55/R18 Michelins. I don't know the rear gears, but I feel they are a little low. I drive the truck on weekends only to crusin's or shows and it isn't an issue. Drives fine at highway speeds. I own two classic vehicles and I am relocating a long distance away. I will only pay to have one moved so one has to go. A lot of money has been put into this truck and I have enjoyed it while my other was being restored. Truck has not been smoked in, always garaged and never raced. (I am 59 years young and don't need to prove anything.) Cruis-in' season is just about here. Why buy a project truck with rust? Just hop in and go. You could not restore an old pick-up truck to this condition for anywhere near my asking price. This truck has no known mechanical issues other than the turn signals don't cancel. They did, but they don't now. I'm sure it's something simple, but I haven't messed with it. Please e-mail me with any questions. Do not bid if you are not serious.
