You are looking at a 1964 VW Bus. It is running a 1600 Dual-port engine that is 12 volt and runs excellent. The transmission shifts good and doesn't pop out, just makes a little noise. The front end is off a 1968 bus, so it has a lot more travel and rides better than the older models. The bus has a new master cylinder and all new brakes and cylinders in the front, the brakes in the back have been redone recently as well. The wheels are standard 14 inch, and the tires are in good shape. The glass is all good, camper style windows on the left, and pop-out style windows on the right. All the electrical systems work including lights, turn signals, wipers, horn, interior lights, and gauges. The stereo in the dash works, but needs to be hooked up. The interior in this bus is quite nice, it has the walk through in the front, plus the front seats have been restored in Route 66 cloth material. In the back it has a rear seat that folds down into a very nice 6 foot long bed. The bed has been re-covered in the same Route 66 material as the seats. There are also many nice cabinets and cupboards throughout the interior to hold all your stuff. Also included with this old bus is the original spare tire, jack and old-school roof rack. The body on this bus needs left and right inner and outer rocker panels, and a right rear jack post. The frame and floor are in pretty good shape. The front floors are in fair shape. This bus has never been hit in the front or rear, but there is some damage in the right rear quarter panel, however everything looks like its very fixable. The paint code behind the seat reads: light green L 345. All the paint inside is original. This little bus is complete and very usable as it is, or would make an excellent candidate for a restoration. These kind of buses are very sought after in the VW market.
