Up for auction is my 1992 Volkswagen GTI 16v. I purchased the car in the fall of 2010 to have a car for running that was good on fuel mileage. Replaced the clutch, new alternator, battery, spark plugs, distributor cap, and rotor. Car does well on fuel, approximately 28-29miles to gallon. Its a little rocket, very fun to drive. Interior is in excellent shape (dash is cracked though). Exterior is slightly faded and has a couple dings: one on the driver's door and the other on the passengers front quarter panel and grill. A couple little spots of surface rust, but other than that rust free. All the glass is perfect, no cracks or chips. Currently has snow tires with 90%+ tread left on them. Speedometer cable doesn't work, quit working after clutch was installed, so has maybe another 500 miles on the odometer. Stereo is in the dash but not currently hooked up, has all hardware and wiring with the car. I recently bought an AWD subaru for the winter so no longer need two cars.
