This 1978 International Scout is a good running and driving vehicle with a few cosmetic flaws. It features a 345 V8 with Auto trans, 4X4 and removable top. There is No AC and only an AM radio. Donated to a local charity and for sale on their behalf, this Scout could be a real gem with only minimal work. Originally blue, the exterior was resprayed black at some point, and while presentable it could definately use a fresh coat of paint. (faded, several chips and scratches) An original California vehicle, so there is no rust. The interior is in fair condition. The seats look great, but the drivers seat is torn and wears a cheap cover. The dashboard also has a few cracks and the wiper and headlight knobs are missing. The plastic center compartment has a crack in it, and the floormat is worn through on the drivers side. Mechanically it runs and drives well, however the suspension seems a bit soft, and the tires will need to be replaced soon. The engine also has an oil leak from what looks like the valve cover. Comes with spare tune up parts as well as the factory owners and service manuals. A good old Scout that could be used as is, or easily prepped for serious off road duty. NO RESERVE!
