1978 Honda Gold Wing

Naked 1978 Honda Gold Wing Cafe Racer. Bike has been completely gone over and is well sorted out. Bike has loads of new parts and upgrades, starts instantly and runs strong. Mileage when I purchased the bike was around 35,000 but the current speedometer is not the original one and shows different mileage. Clear WA title in my name. Bike is registered and inspected in WA. This bike has been featured in numerous online publications and has featured well at many shows. Last shown in the 2011 Seattle International Bike show, where it had throngs of people looking and taking pictures. This machine never fails to garner attention where ever it is parked. It was built to be ridden, and has been ridden, so does show typical wear as such. This bike is generally referred to as a "Cafe" racer, since that style is the closest design most people can associate with. Those of us who build these goldwings refer to them as "Bulldogs". Tons of low end torque, stripped of a couple hundred pounds of weight, reliable and fast. This one of a kind custom bike will set you apart from every other bike on the road with class! As I ride this bike down country roads near my shop. My mind often wanders back to a time of motorcycling when people built bikes of a purposeful nature, machines built by hand, not from catalogs or parts added at a dealership. You too, can experience the thrill. The Goldwing platform is a great machine with which to build a custom motorcycle. This particular bike is fondly known as "Vyper". The bike was built in dedication to my now deceased father who ran the number 18 on his early 50's stock car racer. (common on these old wings, does not smoke or use oil afterwards). Center stand has been removed as the bike is lowered.The 140 rear tire lightly rubs the swing arm. This issue can be solved by using a 130 tire.
