You are buying an early MG Midget that needs work but is very restorable and can be a great project car. This is a complete and good example of a wire wheel Mk II Midget. Previous owner started, got discouraged and gave it up. Dry stored for many years. Much of the paint has been stripped from the body. The original 1098 engine and rib case tranny are still with the car. Body is very solid with rust through in the common areas. Will need rockers and sills on both sides. The floor section in the drivers foot well will need to be replaced, all other floors are solid. Some new sheet metal and patch panels come with the car. Both front fenders, doors, hood, deck lid and valance ass'y are in very good condition with no rust through. Glass is all there and in good condition. Dash with all original instruments are still with the car as are the seats, bumpers and much of the trim. Some new parts were in the trunk still in original packages. 95% of the original mechanicals are with the car. Many new and NOS parts still available for this car at very reasonable prices.
