Now that the early auctions are over and spring is on the way, its time to list this one for your consideration. Here is your chance to latch on to big block muscle, originality of 1 of 182 ever built. More than likely a way better investment than the stock market. If you watched the auctions, all sources have predicted the collector car market is swinging up again, so now is the time to buy! This Galaxie really is a sweet ride and was done over at some point in its life to how it shows now. The XL interior and some badging were added and makes the car a little sharper. With its electric blue paint it does definitely stand out wherever it has gone. Over all the car is solid and has one of the best frames I have ever seen, not even much scale on it and certainly not rusted in the common places these fail. The 428 sounds and runs good and shows good oil pressure on the guage. There does not appear to be any leaks from anything other than a broken rear end vent tube, an easy fix I just have not had time to get to. The tires are good, although I am not sure just how old they really are as I did not install them. The brakes are 100% new with nearly every component being replaced when I got the car, in fact I don't even think the shoes have seated since they were done. Most of the trim is decent as well and I have a couple extra and new pieces that will go with the car, particulary the right rear quarter lower. The bumpers are nce and have decent plating as they are. The interior shows very well as you can see and there are no cuts in the upohlstery, The factory am - fm radio plays and works well, although the fader could use some work. steering is tight, gas guage works too! The idiot lights are disconnected though, but has after market guage set. The ac worked when I got the car but needs the vacuum line setup corrected to work right. Otherwise inside is nice. Headliner is drooping in the back, again an easy fix. The car is 99% rust free, qtrs rockers all appears solid, paint has a nice over all shine and hardly a mark on it. There is one scratch check on the hood surface, certainly an easy repair but not that bad. Doors are good as well. If you have any questions by all means please e-mail me.
