The previous owner spent over $25,000.00 on the restoration and it shows !! Over $12,000.00 was spent just on the drive train !!Careful to not let this 1955 jewel get away ! This BEAUTY is one nice driving rig and is in GREAT shape as your can clearly see in the pictures below. I drove this BEAST for several weeks as my every day driver to and from the office and running errands as needed and it ran and drove great, TO FUN !! If you can make it to Boise in the next ten days please come look at and drive this Beauty for yourself, you won't be disappointed !! THIS IS A QAULITY TRUCK !! According to the previous owner This Classic 1955 Willy's Hotrod Wagon has a STRONG - "GROUND POUNDING" 327 CID V8 in it from a 1965 Chevrolet Impala that was rebuilt and balanced. This is a VERY STRONG motor that is running very well indeed and has some upgrades including a Edelbrock 1406 four barrell carb (with electric choke), Edelbrock performance intake manifold, Edelbrock chrome air cleaner housing, Chrome Edelbrock valve covers. He also told us that the motor has 202 Camelback heads (shown in a picture below) and a RV Dual grind Cam. Sounds good too with the "Throaty Sounding" custom dual exhaust system that has a nice rumble to it. The engine is kept cool with a Northern Aluminum radiator and automatic electric fan. The engine is backed by a smooth 465 four speed transmission with a 205 transfer case both of which are functioning very well. It also has Dana 44 Axles with 3.73:1 gears / Limited slip - front and rear. It has plenty of tire smoking power down low and still cruises down the freeway no problem, how could it get any better !! Stops good too with good brakes with disc's on the front. The front-end seems to be in good condition and it drives down the road great. The Custom Two Tone Gray cloth interior is BEAUTIFUL with VERY NICE gray cloth high-back fully reclining bucket seats up front, VERY NICE matching Gray cloth rear seat, NICE Tuffy Deluxe center console with padded arm rest, NICE ORIGINAL dash, NICE ORIGINAL gauge cluster's, NICE aftermarket oil pressure and water temperature gauge, seat belts, NICE Gray carpeting throughout, nice matching Gray sun visors, VERY NICE matching Two Tone gray door panels, VERY NICE matching gray interior paneling and headliner and a nice later model steering wheel. This truck is nicely equipped including good heater and defroster from Vintage air, shoulder belts up front, Electric windshield wiper conversion, large capacity fuel tank, all new glass, inside roll bar, sliding center side windows, manual locking hubs and working turn signals so that it is legal in all states. This Four Wheel Drive Wagon is a great running and Awesome looking Hot Rod for sure. This 1955 Willy's Hotrod Wagon has GOOD looks and GREAT power as well ! This vehicle is in GREAT mechanical condition and it runs and drives very well. It is solid with respect to the overall mechanical condition as well as the overall cosmetic impression. I looked underneath and it is nice. I only saw a little surface rust that you would expect to see from normal dry weather driving. According to the previous owner This Classic 1955 Willy's Hotrod Wagon has a STRONG - "GROUND POUNDING" 327 CID V8 in it from a 1965 Chevrolet Impala that was rebuilt and balanced. This is a VERY STRONG motor that is running very well indeed and has some upgrades including a Edelbrock 1406 four barrell carb (with electric choke), Edelbrock performance intake manifold, Edelbrock chrome air cleaner housing, Chrome Edelbrock valve covers. He also told us that the motor has 202 Camelback heads (shown in a picture below) and a RV Dual grind Cam. Sounds good too with the "Throaty Sounding" custom dual exhaust system that has a nice rumble to it. The engine is kept cool with a Northern Aluminum radiator and automatic electric fan. The engine is backed by a smooth 465 four speed transmission with a 205 transfer case both of which are functioning very well. It also has Dana 44 Axles with 3.73:1 gears / Limited slip - front and rear. It has plenty of tire smoking power down low and still cruises down the freeway no problem, how could it get any better !! Stops good too with good brakes with disc's on the front. The front-end seems to be in good condition and it drives down the road great. The Custom Two Tone Gray cloth interior is BEAUTIFUL with VERY NICE gray cloth high-back fully reclining bucket seats up front, VERY NICE matching Gray cloth rear seat, NICE Tuffy Deluxe center console with padded arm rest, NICE ORIGINAL dash, NICE ORIGINAL gauge cluster's, NICE aftermarket oil pressure and water temperature gauge, seat belts, NICE Gray carpeting throughout, nice matching Gray sun visors, VERY NICE matching Two Tone gray door panels, VERY NICE matching gray interior paneling and headliner and a nice later model steering wheel. This truck is nicely equipped including good heater and defroster from Vintage air, shoulder belts up front, Electric windshield wiper conversion, large capacity fuel tank, all new glass, inside roll bar, sliding center side windows, manual locking hubs and working turn signals so that it is legal in all states. We prefer a bank to bank wire transfer of funds as payment but we will also accept a bank cashiers check (US only) or a third party check but we will validate the checks authenticity and the funds must clear our account before the vehicle or the title to the vehicle is released to the buyer or the buyers agent. Buyer is responsible for pickup or shipping of this vehicle. If you wish to have it shipped using a service we will gladly cooperate. You can locate shippers by doing a search for `auto shippers`.
