Please read entire description before asking questions or bidding. I am re-listing this auction. This will be the last time you'll see me put this truck up via auction. If it doesn't sell I'll be parting it out in the spring. I WILL NOT TAKE LESS THAN THE STARTING BID, SO DON'T EVEN ASK! And you must bid on this to win it, that's how an auction works. UPDATE 2-19: per the request of some bidders I went out and checked the fluids yesterday. Everything looks great, with nothing that appears out of the ordinary. I also took the time to throw a battery in it to see what happens. It turns over and sounds like it has great compression. I'm pretty sure it will start up when everything is put back on. I might even try hitting it with a shot of diesel starting fluid to see if it will fire. If it does, I will post that up as well. I took in this 1992 Dodge just to sell or use for parts and have decided to run it though ebay for now. At this time I am not selling any parts off of it, and this auction is for the whole truck. I have not owned this truck very long, so I don't know too much about it. I do know that it currently is not running and I have never seen it run. The man I purchased it from said that it was starting to leak diesel fuel at the injector lines, so he parked it and started to fix it. At the time it was his daily driver and he said it ran and drove great. He got as far as pulling off the intake tube and unhooking the throttle when he found a good deal on another much newer 24 valve truck and bought that one instead. So it has been sitting for about a year. The truck is an extended cab and is equipped with a cummins 5.9 inline diesel engine with a holset turbo and intercooler. It has an automatic overdrive transmission and a cast iron new process 205 transfer case. The front axle is a kingpin dana 60 and the rear is a dana 70. Both axles are equipped with 3.54 gears. The body of the truck has some rough spots. The previous owner riveted new rockers onto it, and patched the bottom of the doors. The front fenders are rusted and the bed is banged up. There is no tailgate. The windshield is cracked. The interior is mostly there but dirty. The seat has a small rip, but otherwise isn't too bad. This truck would be great for parts or to rebuild. It's getting very hard to find these first generation cummins trucks, so don't let this one pass you up. If it doesn't sell through here I'll tinker with it in the spring to get running and you know it will go for more if it is a running/driving truck.Or I will part it out. The truck is still loaded onto my trailer, so I am willing to deliver anywhere in the U.S. and Canada for a reasonable price. Email me for a quote.
