I have to say up front that this is a very well maintained car, but it does need an oil pan and will eventually need a head gasket. The car does not blow smoke and there is no coolant in the oil. There is just a small amount of oil on the block next to the head gasket. My Mercedes mechanic said that it won’t need the head gasket for awhile though. The oil pan has a crack on the front edge and there is a small oil leak there. Not sure if the crack can be re welded, but that would probably be a cheaper fix than to replace the pan. The ABS light is on as well but he cannot find an immediate cause for this. Car has 120000 miles on it. Fully loaded - Power steering, power brakes, power windows, power seats, cruise control, moonroof, dual air bags, ABS, etc. All electrics work. This car runs and drives great. Pioneer CD system with iPod/iPhone connectivity. 8000 miles on rebuilt transmission. New A/C system, blows ice cold. Seating for 7 with fold down rear seat. Recent brake job. 2 new tires. Midnight blue exterior. Paint in great condition but there are normal little chips for a 16 year old car. Interior in excellent condition. No cracking, tears, etc. I am selling it as is for $3500. I would hate for this to be a parts car, it is in too great a condition and I have spent quite a lot of money on it (almost $6000 between the transmission rebuild and the A/C replacement alone). I recently purchased a new car and do not have the room to keep this one. I would keep it if I could. Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions.
