SPRING IS COMING!!!!! GORGEOUS 2002 Honda Shadow Spirit VT 750 DC This bike is in phenomenal condition. Sure it has 22K on it but I can attest to the fact that those miles were put on with love. I am only the second owner of this bike and I've had it for 6 years. I have kept it in a garage or other covered location when not riding it. Clean title in hand! The only reason I am selling the bike is because I am deploying overseas for the third time in a couple of months, I don't really want to hassle with finding a place to store this while I'm gone. I hate to get rid of this bike but certain things in life can't be controlled. This bike is 100% mechanically sound, I had a tune up completed last summer after I got the new exhaust put on. You'll see in the pictures there are a few modifications to the bike to make it look a little better than a stock version. There is a custom taillight and rear blinker packagecustom Mustang seat (retail $300)back rest or sissy bar as its sometimes called ($150)full Jardine exhaust system. Not slip-ons, these are mounted straight into the carburetor. ($400) new jet kit installed with the jardine pipes ($75) I had a new rear tire put on last summer, and the front tire was replaced in the summer of 2009. I promise you won't be disappointed with this bike. It's a great ride for the first time biker but at 750cc (or a little more thanks to the new exhaust) its great for an experienced rider as well. The Jardine pipes make it sound pretty bada$$. There are a couple of little scratches on the left side of the tank towards the front...you have to look really hard to see them. There is also a small dime size spot on the tank close to the seat where something must have rubbed on the tank. Right now there are two different mirrors on the bike. Long story short, I tried to change them out and ended up breaking one of each. I have the original mirrors that I can put back on or just give them to you. If you notice the picture from the rear, there is a little rust action going on the back of the back rest, that can easily be cleaned up. Again, this bike is amazing and I hate to see it go, I hope I can find a great home for it with someone that loves to ride!! I am willing to deliver the bike within 200 miles of Omaha NE 68106 for an extra .25 a mile. Email me if you live farther and we can figure something out. I am willing to work out a deal to have the bike shipped but you must do the leg work if you want it shipped. If I do ship the bike the buyer will be responsible for all costs.
