1971 Chevy Monte Carlo For sale...this is a project car..roller no motor and transmission but will come with the sale.. The engine is a fully forged hydraulic roller 383 chevy stroker freshly rebuilt with no miles It has forged pistons, forged crank, forged H beam rods..Lunati Cam which if you know lunatic you know all their camshafts are constructed of billet steel.. I got this motor from a buddy who needed cash bad..he had originally built the motor but he used the wrong oil pan that was not clearanced for a 383..The rotating assembly probably had less than 200 miles on it..when I got it..it had a HUGE comp cam solid roller camshaft, I pulled that I bought a brand new Lunati Camshaft..the camshaft specs are as follows.. 507Int 507 Exh 278 Int 288 Exh 108 LSA It also has GM Bowtie Heads that have been opened to a 200 Intake Runner-2.05 Valves 1.60 With hyrdaulic roller springs up to a 600 Lift..an Edelbrock Super Victor Intake port matched to the heads..1.6 Roller Rockers..ATI Harmonic Dampener, Edelbrock 750CFM carb that has about 100miles.. When I bought the motor, I didn't trust a backyard assembly so I took it to Windy City Engineering, where they cut the crank 10/10 and installed all King Cam, Rod and Main bearings throughout..they also assembled the motor from intake to oil pan...(The original oil pan was dented and it needs to be replaced, it is NOT the correct oil pan for a 383 stroke)I have receipts for all work done..It has also fel-pro head gaskets, and fel pro intake gaskets, ARP head bolts throughout.. I have a TH350 Transmission that has been rebuilt about 900 dollars into the trans..The torque converter is 10inch 3000 stall.. The monte carlo needs a paint job. It is about a good 20 footer..the original paint still has a shine..it does have a small dime sized rust hole on the trunk..a dent in the passenger side door. It has the original 12 Bolt Rearend, I dont know if its a posi or not..The twenty inch rims, were on the car when I bought it..I dont have the wheel key..they are twenty inch velocity's rims..the tires are older..they are for a truck..not a car... This is very SOLID project that even without the paint job..will make for a GREAT sleeper..I do also have an assortment of other parts..flowmaster mufflers, ACCELL distributor, Moroso plug wires..etc another intake..that are for sale separately...buy the car and drivetrain..and Ill make you a GREAT deal on the rest of the parts..I do also have the title free and clear..I dont know the mileage on the roller and I never really cared either..its in pretty good shape for a 40 year old car.. AT this moment the drivetrain is not for sale separately...if the auction doesn't sell the car and everything then Maybe I will reconsider...if you have any offers..then please send them to me..but no lowballers..
