Listing this car for a friend. Up for bids is this great easy project REAL 1968 Plymouth Roadrunner. It was an original 383 automatic car. It is now powered by a 400 with the 727 automatc transmission. the car fires right up and runs good, shifts out well. i was told the top end of the motor was gone through before installation. It has brand new exhaust all the way out the back that ran just over $600. The paint is fairly new and is good driver quality, not a show car i would rate it about a 7. The engine bay was painted as well, which is correct for a mopar. When it was restored, it has new half quarters put on, and new trunk floors. The floors do have a couple spots that have been patched here and there, but did not warrant new replacement pans. the driver's front appeared to have been the worst. The frame rails are in excellent shape front to back with no issues at all. The car needs a few finishing touches before it's ready to hit the shows. the passenger door handle is installed but not hooked up, which is why the door panel is off on that side. the kick panels and sill plates need to be installed, they are included. the seats have been recovered. The only thing that appears to be missing is the 2 long pieces of drip rail molding on the sides above the side windows, and one front side marker light. i may have some extra drip rail trim laying around that can go with the car. The can has new brakes, but still need to be adjusted as one of the fronts hit hard when you press the brake and practically locks up. I'm pretty sure this is due to the car sitting, it has only gone down the road a couple times since my friend bought the car. This roadrunner just needs a couple good weekends of TLC to finish it up. It has a clear title. Don't miss out on this car, where else will you find a REAL running roadrunner for under 10k?? if you do please buy it instead!
