This is a 1970 Dodge Challenger Convertible Project car. Car originally was a 318/automatic. Original drive train is long gone, car has NO build sheet or fender tag. Original paint color was Lemon Twist Yellow. I picked this car up last year with intentions of completing the restoration and turning it into a nice driver. I have not have the time to devote to this car between my busy work and family life and priorities have changed. This car would be an excellent candidate for a Hemi Clone or a 440+6 Clone car THE GOOD: 8.75 rear axle with 3.91 sure grip chuck Solid original frame rails front and rear Convertible top frame is in excellent condition. Car is extremely solid, needs very little to be a great driver! Rally hood Stainless trim that goes around convertible well is in excellent condition, I had to replace the large piece that goes across the back when I purchased this car. This trim is very difficult to find and very expensive! The following parts have been replaced with either new or good used parts: -Quarter Panels -Trunk Floor -Trunk extensions -Front Floor pans -Upper Cowl panel -Dutchman Panel -Tail light panel -Doors THE BAD: No build sheet or fender tag (was a factory 318 car so we are not talking a huge loss of value here....not like it was a J, N, R or V code car!) Will need body work completed where dutchman panel and tail light panel were replaced and repaint of at least doors back. Right side door jamb will need repair or replace at bottom. Bottoms of wheel houses need small patch. Body has typical dents and dings that you would expect in a 40+ year old car Windshield is cracked. No drive train parts, motor, trans, radiator, fuel tank, etc No master cylinder for brakes. The car comes with a lot of parts that are not shown in the pictures. Trim is all original and shows its age. Tail lights, housings and bezels are included. Rear side markers are included, car has full interior. Carpet appears original and could stand to be replaced, seats have been recovered and are in decent shape. Seat backs have been painted. The rear sail panels have been cut for speakers. This car is a PROJECT and will need some work and reassembly before it can be put on the road, if this were a turn key car my asking price would be much higher.
