Honesty IS the best policy, so lets start with the cons: The level air ride needs attention. I replaced the pump, but the problem is, it doesn't stop trying to adjust. Probably a bad sensor on the axle. There are four small seams in the drivers seat that are pulling apart. Even with new regulators the power windows are lazy. When it's cold (ONLY when it's cold) the alternator light comes on, then off, then on, then off, etc.... I have replaced the alternator twice, but the problem persists. The drivers door arm rest is badly worn. I have a replacement, but it's the wrong color. Windshield needs re-sealing but only during hurricanes. So much for the bad news. Pros: It's only been “out of service” for three years. great "first call" vehicle. It's on a Deville chassis, but is as big as those on a Fleetwood. Front wheel drive, tight tranny, and Cadillac 4.5 bullet-proof engine. A/C converted to R-134. At the time of listing just 72,500 miles. All the (minor) body work it needed has been done properly and it looks great. Repairs included small area of rust where vinyl top meets rear fender, left rear dog leg, bottoms of front doors, and "Casket" door. The matching whitewall tires have 3k miles on them. The vinyl top has no tears, or wear. Chrome is nice. City gas mileage is as good as my wife's V6 Jeep Liberty when driven sensibly, 9 – 11 mpg. It's been my 1000 mile-a-year daily driver for three years, and has never let me down. Eligible for classic tags in most states, and near show condition with some investment. Selling only because I bought a 27' camper, and needed a tow vehicle. I'll miss being asked if I work for a funeral home. It's that nice! PLEASE email questions or concerns.
