I have owned hundreds of classic cars over the years and this one is at the top of my favorites!! It is absolutely gorgeous and turns heads and draws a crowd where ever it goes and everyone knows there is no better investment than a mid year corvette! This C2 is impressive from any angle. It offers a very solid rust free frame and a NO hit body! All of the bonding strips are in place and all of the body alignments are superb. The doors open/shut with ease as if new with a nice tight sound. The car had a one time repaint in the late 90's and it has held up beautifully and still shows very well. All of the chrome, stainless, britework, glass etc. appears to be original and displays wonderfully! The original motor is long gone but has since been replaced with a more desireable 66 327/350HP engine that offers plenty of power with a smooth dependable ride! It still retains its original 4 speed transmission that shifts through the gears flawlessly and the factory rear end! This car has been thoroughly checked out and passed a very stiff Va inspection. This has to be one of the best cars I have ever had the pleasure of driving. It has NO mechanical problems NO leaks NO funny noises or NO issues what so ever!! EVERYTHING on this car is in proper working order as designed EVERYTHING... lights, signals, horn, instrument gauges right down to the factory clock even works. The headlights work up and down as good as the day it was new with NO drag. Aprox. a year ago this car received new exhaust, shocks, suspension parts bushings etc. It rides, performs and handles excellent free from any vibrations, rattles, leaks or noises! I was told the interior was original to the car and I must say it has held up beautifully with very minimal signs of wear. The car now has new 17in Cragars that look great and fit well and don't rub.
