Vehicle Detail

OK Ford lovers... Here it is.. I am a Mopar person by birth/choice, and I'm not an expert on Fords(thank the Lord), so let me do my best to describe this blue oval gem and pardon me if I make a few mistakes along the way. I am quite certain that all you Fordiacs out there in ebay land will correct me if I am wrong. Here up for auction we have a beautifull 1970 Ford Torino GT with a 2V-351 cleveland, C6 automatic transmission and Ford 9-inch rear end. This car has been in Nevada since the 80's and has little rust and Is very straight. I believe it to be wearing its original paint that is faded and worn through to the primer in certain spots on the roof and hood. It has its original magnum 500 rims with bfg radial t/a's with lots of tread. I aquired this beast from a co-worker who has had it since the 80's. It has not been driven for about four years. it was his daily driver before that. There was nothing wrong with the car when he parked it(besides being a Ford and having lot of miles on it) he just started driving something else. I decided to rescue this ol' girl. I took the liberty of throwing a battery in it and squirting fresh gas in the carb and it cranked, fired, and ran for a few seconds until the gas ran out of the carb bowls. This car originally had a c4 tranny that he had replaced with a c6 that is in the car now. The c4 bellhousing and the chrome hoodscoop insert thingy are in the trunk. The hood release, latch, and associated brackets/hardware are in the trunk also, since he removed them and fabricated a reverse hidden hood pin setup without drilling holes in the hood(pretty ingenious for a Ford guy). The grill is missing. There is no rust in the trunk, floorpans, or frame that I can see other than surface. The only rust to speek of would be in the rear wheelwell arches. It is very minor and can be seen in the pics. All glass is good and windows/quarter windows roll up and down with ease. This fine ride comes equipt with: dual glasspack mufflers, airshocks, shag carpet, and yellow traction bars, all essential equipment from the late 70's early 80's. The dash is cracked, front seat needs recovered, headliner and door panels are good. All kidding aside, this car is really solid(I wish it was a 71 Dodge Challenger) and will make someone a great project or donor car. I have clear NV title in hand. I reserve the right to end this auction at any time. Car must be paid for within 72hrs of auction end through Paypal or some other method that you have discussed with me BEFORE you bid. Please ask any and all questions before you bid/buy. I will store the car for you for up to 2 weeks(assuming you have paid in full) until you can arange transport or you and your ford buddies can come haul it off or whatever you choose. You and afformentioned Ford buddies will NOT be allowed to touch or even stand and stare with mouths open, drooling in awe, at my sexy, 440 powered, 68 Dodge Charger, or any other mopar related items on my property, in my shop, or emediate vicinity. This wonderfull Hotrod Ford is sold as is, where is. I will assist with the loading and I am an easy person to deal with as long as you are honest(no bull). Everyone is welcome to come inspect the vehicle. Thank you all for looking and happy bidding gentlemen, and ladies too! Even though all the Ford girls out there probably want a Mustang. Everybody knows only chicks and feminine dudes named Terry drive mustangs! OK that last comment was chauvanistic and downright mean. I take it back....Just kidding. On Feb-11-11 at 08:26:23 PST, seller added the following information: I made a mistake in the description above. The car is a 1971 as stated in the heading not a 1970 as i wrote above. On Feb-11-11 at 19:12:06 PST, seller added the following information: Allright, I hate talking about this, but I have to because of some people out there. If you have a feedback of less than 5 please contact me before placing your bid. I am going to have to delete a couple peoples bids because one person is brand new with zero feedback and another has only 1 feedback rating and that 1 rating is negative for non-payment for a Hotwheel car. So I have decided not to let this person bid on a real car. It is not fair that people with no means or intention of purchasing run up the bid out of the range that legitimate buyers are willing to pay and when the auction is over I have to deal with some clown who is fantasizing or playing games. If you are serious and are new to ebay contact me please, I don't want to shut anyone out here, just the dis-honest jokers. Thank you.
