Up for bid is a Fully loaded 1999 Ford Windstar SE. It has 162k miles and never been in an accident. I have driven the vehicle for a couple of days to familiarize myself with it and it is a pretty solid van. The paint is in excellent condition. It has virtually no scuffs, or dents, scratches, etc. It has better-than-average-condition paint for a vehicle of this vintage. The motor is strong. It has no leaks. However, although it does have power, there is a slight hint of smoke when first truning it on. I believe it will need a head gasket soon. I have just changed the oil. The power band is smooth but in my experience when vehicles start with smoke, a head gasket will be necessary in the very near future. Please keep this in mind when bidding. The transmission functions properly, with no slipping or missed gears. The interior is in excellent condition with NO staining or blemishes to speak of. The back seats look as though they have never been used. Because this is an SE, it has the rear captains chairs instead of the bench seat. It is fully loaded with front and rear a/c-heat, cd player, on-board driving computer and optional power seats and rear passenger door. The tires are like new with plenty of tread left. Overall, it is a solid vehicle. This car is being presented "AS-IS" for year and mileage.
