This one very special Mustang Mach 1. Over 3 years in restoration and 50k spend taking this original Mach 1 to the next level with the best of everything. Here is her history... scheduled to be built August, 1969 at the Dearborn, Michigan Plant and delivered to Smith Auto Company, Spanish Fork, UT. She has only had 3 lucky owners in possession of this mostly original, upgraded, low mile (74,637 actual miles) Mustang. Ordered new in August 8th, 1969 at Smith Auto Company. And sold on September 8th 1970. owned by two owners over the next 26 years, the last owner bought it in 1996, with about 50,000 original miles. In the mid 2000’s the owner having many cars in his collection, chose it for a full restoration and during the restoration he went overboard in the paint, the motor, trans, axels, interior and more. The whole car when through a rotisserie restoration and received many upgrades and improvements. in 2006 the restoration began and ended in 2009. It received a restoration/show repaint in Dark Candy Apple Red Metallic paint, 10 coats of clear. Next the interior was completely restored and improved with a plush White (original color) Clarion Knit Vinyl interior. A full roll bar was installed and new panels, carpets, etc. The metal was stripped bare. Today it is all metal, not rust. The Motor and drivetran all matching to the car and are rebuilt to new condition with many upgrades. Converted to 4 valve, 4 barrel, new cam she puts out 0ver 350hp. Everything works perfectly on this machine. Engine, trans, axel, brakes, electricals work as they should. 74,000 Original mile Mach 1 Rotisserie restoration 2006-2009 Dark Candy Apple Red Show Paint Engine professionally rebuilt and upgraded 300hp+ ALL NEW o Numbers matching 351 engine H Code - Standard Bore o Carburetor: 650cfm Edelbrock/Webber 4 BBL o High Performance - Cast Iron heads o Intake Manifold: Power Pro Pollised & Ported to match heads, aluminum o Performance Cam: HiPo - Mid Range o Mallory High Perf Electronic Distributor & Coil o Aries high output alternator o Edelbrock high performance alloy water pump o Exhaust: Hooker Headers - Flow master Exhaust - All New o FMX Select-Shift Cruise-O-matic Transmission Ford 9” rear end Factory Swy bars New Suspension w/adjustable air shocks Sportsroof fastback Rear fastback louvers Restored original plush deluxe black knit vinyl Mach 1 Hi-Back bucket seats - no wear & tear Restored original flip fold rear seat; Rust Free Body & Chassis Restored undercarriage nice Restored suspension with upgraded air shocks (raise and lower car) Custom Upgraded wheels and tires (2 different sets to choose from See side/by/sides) Upgraded walnut stirring wheel Original spare and jack (not in car) Show quality engine & engine bay Excellent chrome Excellent bright work Restored belts, hoses replaced flushed radiator, serviced intake, carburetor and distributor Power Brakes - new Power Steering - new Original full tinted glass Original Delco AM Radio Excellent original dash Excellent original instrument cluster with Tach Factory seat belts Perfect original headliner Completion Roll Bar “Mach 1” Rocker Moldings “Mach 1” Hood Twist Locks Front Chin Spoiler Rear spoiler wing Shelby GT500 Dual Rear Air Scoops Turn signals work Restored weather strip All original tinted glass, including the windshield Deluxe Marti Report Clear & Open Title Open Bill of Sale Original Owners manual Again a near mint mild resto-mod 70’ Mach-1 that starts, runs, drives and brakes perfectly.
