Vehicle Detail

As the title says this is a Rare original low milage 440 clubcab It has 68480 miles I PUT ON 1100 in the last year it drives like a truck with 68 k it steers like a truck with 68 k it has no issues like a truck with 68k. It also has all the heavy duty options you would expect on a camper 7500. The fender tag is still in place the underhood options tag is still attached. It has three fuel tanks and all the gas gauges work! It has the original woodgrain adventurer interior with a near perfect seat. This description is brief I will add to it latter with pictures. I have searched for bigblock powerwagons for years and have never found a more complete unmolested example of a true original big block truck with all its equipment undisturbed from the heat shields to the cooling system. There have been no modifications to this truck that are not related to the campers it has carried. The camper was removed by me in August of 2010. The camper is not included in the sale! It is has been removed! This truck saw little to no offroad use and is equiped to carry a very heavy load. This truck can be driven anywhere in North America in the condition its in. I will drive or haul it to you for a reasonable cost or you can fly in and drive it home. I have been working on and collecting these trucks for 24 years and this is the finest original 440 clubcab I have ever owned. IT is unrestored and 100% complete, with exception of the tailgate 100% original and 99.9% unmodified. (rear springs +aux fuel tank) The truck has four older as new michelins on it and a new spare that is not michelin. I took a 950 mile trip to Wyoming in this and pulled a 1963 chevy nova home with it last August it had absolutely no with problems at all. It runs very well at high speed on the highway. On Feb-05-11 at 20:44:39 PST, seller added the following information: I just spent 2 hours writing a detailed description to have it crash while loading. So now you get the executive version The pictures are geared for the restorer The Electrical is as perfect as original gets absolutely no damage shorts or overheats. Mods are minor for the camper , a 8-track and a now missing CB. the ashtray has never been used the seat is near perfect the many pictures of the floor show it is solid with no holes or soft spot I pulled vthe skidplate to get the pictures. The drivetrain has not problems that I can find the steering is as perfect as it gets the front axle needs nothing and has been serviced with 425 degree drop temp grease and it apears it has been properly maintained. all the body is original untouched the frontclip pictures show perfect fit. all the correct bigblock equipment is in place never disturbed. I do not have room for this truck in the garage. It can't sit outside. I have had far too many and watched them rot this truck only needs. For you that know these trucks I challenge you anyone more experienced or more qualified to inspect this and judge its condition. For those of you that are novices this truck is fulltime fourwheel drive. All dodges from 1975-79 are. This is the same chassis as the m880 military 1 1/4 ton truck. All new suvs from porsche to mercedes are fulltime. It is the most capable and safe system produced for one simple reason it has a third differental in the transfercae. fourwheel drive without lock splits the load 50-50 on the axles but the brakes all operate independantly it doesn't mater if one brake locks the other three rotate and allow you to steer. In a part time truck when you put it in 4wheel drive and hit the brakes if one brake in front locks all brakes lock and you can't steer. You are riding a sled because locking a rear brake stops the rotation of the front wheels because they are LOCKED TOGETHER. On the Dodge you only use lock 4wheel when you get stuck which very unlikely. the rest of the pictures are self explanitory Pictures of the front back and side will be available as soon as it stops snowing hear so by tuesday. On Feb-08-11 at 19:06:24 PST, seller added the following information: NEWSFLASH This is the fist time I have had a zero bidder bid on anything. Every new Ebayer gets a benifit of the doubt but this is Just really suspicious timing. I will not except bids from bidders with less than 10 feedback and cancel the bids of all bidders in this case retroactive to this new "policy" of mine. Any bidder that fits this category has no "skin in the game" yet and HAS TO CONTACT ME BEFORE BIDDING. I reserve the right to reject or accept their bids.On Feb-12-11 at 19:32:37 PST, seller added the following information: The drivetrain on this truck has no leaks and does not drip or mark the driveway/garage. The entire drivetrain is original to the truck, All the acessories on the engine appear to be undisturbed. The engine compartment looks to have never been hit by a pressure washer and still has all the mud guards and most decals in place. See the photo. There is no rust damage under the battery tray on the radiator support. See the photo with the battery tray removed. The Engine has had an oilchange. That said engine does need valve cover gaskets. The fluids on the transmission, Transfercase, front and rear differential have all been serviced. The power steering and power breaks work without leaks. The transmission shifts properly kicks down for acceleration and has no leaks. The transfercase shifts in and out of lock and from high to low on the fly as they were designed to. All the dash instrument lights and dash indicators work properly including the the transfercase lock and seatbelt lights as with the ashtray and convience lights. The AM radio is original and works well with the dash speaker. All the exterior lights work properly.
