It has the straight 6 with the 4sp transmission and runs and drives great. I was told it has 157k original miles and has been a Utah its whole life. It has brand new tires on the original stock wheels and has brand new custom seat upholstery. It is considered to be a daily driver and would be a perfect candidate to a collector. There are no modifications to the FJ except for the new seat upholstery. Everything on the truck seems to works great, the lights, the gauges, the 4WD, the heater, the wipers and so on. It has had recent body work and a paint job which are decent but not perfect. The original color was white and the interior is still that color and in good conditions. The top is in great shape and does not seem to have any cracks in the fiberglass. It has good glass except for one chip in the windshield which has been filled and a few scratches on the back corner piece. It has the original spare tire carrier which is rare to find on these. I consider this to be a daily driver and not a show car. It would be a perfect truck for someone that is looking for a completely stock fj40. The body is not in perfect shape but is very straight considering that it is 37 years old. Most of rust has been repaired after being bead blasted, but there are still a few more things that need to be done to make it perfect again. As far as the drive train goes, it is very solid and is ready to hit the road. It has front disk brakes and rear drum. The muffler is brand new and sounds great. It has carpet on the inside which is tough to find on these. Like I said the truck is great daily driver for being completely stock, but is still 37 years old and is not in perfect shape.
