(Rims no longer for sale) I am selling my 1968 caprice classic for $8,500 obo. the vehicle is in outstanding condition and has been very well taken care of. the engine is a 327 v-8 it is a very powerful and strong running engine.there are no engine problems. Vehicle runs and drives great. I recently replaced the fuel intake valve, the headlights, and put a brand new heavy duty battery inside the vehicle. However, the hinge is broken, this is easily fixable i have a mechanic that will replace it if you wish. Pictures of interior and engine compartment? 90K original miles? original engine? what work was done on the engine? "poppers" - you mean no handle door access? how much additionally to repair? interior work done? what wheels are included? wheel pictures? how's the transmission? any auxillary electrical work done (sound system, tv's)? rust? under carriage pictures? Jan-15-11 A: I am working on including additional pictures on my posting of all that you requested. I am the second owner of the car and from what i was told the 90,000 miles is original. The engine is also original. I am not positive what all work was done on the engine. The car was customized with shaved door panels which allowed a key to automatically open up the car, however that feature of the car has malfunctioned and does not work. I have to leave the window cracked to reach in and open the car door. The repair for this will cost around $300. No interior work done. there are a few rips on the passenger seats. If you decide to get the vehicle before the end of this month you can have the tires and rims that is on my posting. If not i will have to find some basic tires that will fit. I will take more pics of the tires i have also. I took the car to a mechanic to have them look at the transmission and they couldnt find a fault with it. The car starts and runs fine when i drive it which is usually once a day just to let it stretch. The car has a lag when you first try to start it but its a old a car and it does not have one of these new fuel intake valves, however the car always starts. The interior lights do not come on in the car some type of elecrical problem i am not shure the price of repair. No tv's, it has a basic am fm radio, No sound system, A little rust by the lisence plate. And I will attempt to take under carriage pictures. The car is not perfect but is it also far from in bad shape.
